Hard Work Easy Money For Khamzat Chimaev

It was just another day at the office on July 15, 2020, for UFC newcomer, Khamzat Chimaev, 7W 0L, at UFC Fight Island, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, as he made his UFC debut against middleweight contender, John Phillips, 22W 10L 1NC. From the start of the first round, Chimaev was relentless in immediately taking down his opponent, staying on top position with vicious ground-and-pound for the entire round. 2nd round started just like the first, Chimaev was able to take Phillips down to continue the smashing, and eventually was able to execute a D’Arce choke, forcing Phillips to tap. Chimaev was unscathed from his dominating win, and stated he’s ready to fight next week if the UFC needs him.

The UFC has been very generous during quarantine season, as Khamzat Chimaev will be making a quick turnaround, going up against Rhys McKee 10W 2L 1Dr, on July 25, 2020 at UFC Fight Island 3 on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Before this bout was booked, Chimaev said he’s ready to go up against the best, and willing to face anyone, as the UFC continues catching up with it’s schedule. It’s no surprise that now is the best time to be an active fighter, and Chimaev is just that. Having 4 submission victories, and 3 knockouts for all of his fights, it’s only a matter of time before this young lion enters into the deep waters of the UFC’s welterweight division. With all the new up-and-coming talent the UFC has been showcasing, it has been a very exciting time for anyone who’s a fan of MMA. Fighters like Chimaev have emerged, bringing a relentless, elusive, yet entertaining style of fighting to television. The hard work he’s put in will bring him the easy victories for the easy money, and those are Chimaev’s words on this title, not mine.
