On Saturday, June 20, 2020, at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, Nevada, UFC’s flyweight warrior, Gillian ‘The Savage’ Robertson, 8W 4L, gets her 6th submission victory against a very durable Cortney Casey, 9W 8L. Gillian was having her way throughout most of the match, especially when she took her opponent to the ground, controlling with a beautiful ground game. Casey herself is a warrior who wasn’t going out without a fight, grueling through almost 3 hard rounds. Gillian was able to get into position after a takedown late in the third round, and slowly execute a rear-naked choke. This earns her the most submission victories out of all the women to ever compete for the UFC, including Ronda Rousey, and at only 25 years old, Gillian Robertson also now owns the most finishes with the most wins, in the history of the flyweight division.
