On a recent social media post, UFC’s top featherweight contender, Brian ‘T-City’ Ortega, 14W 1L 1NC, sets the record straight letting everyone know why he hasn’t been able to book a fight. It’s been since December 2018 when we last saw Ortega inside the octagon, where he suffered his first loss in the epic battle against Max Holloway, 21W 5L, for the UFC Featherweight Championship. Since then we’ve been anticipating a match-up between Ortega and the Korean Zombie, Chan Sung Jung, 16W 5L, especially after the altercation that occurred at UFC 248, when Ortega slapped the Zombie’s interpreter, Jay Park. The beef with Jay Park has since been squashed, however there has been more motivation from both parties to engage in a war. Needless to say, as the countries begin to open in their phases, we will be seeing Brian Ortega inside the octagon, hopefully sooner than later.
