Mortal Kombat originally started as a hit fighting game franchise which is still currently one of the top games being sold today. The plot in the game is the same as the original movie from 1995. A group of martial arts warriors travel to a mysterious island to compete in a life and death tournament. A story that never gets old.

Warner Brothers has confirmed it will be releasing its third Mortal Kombat film in January 2021. Produced by Lawrence Kasanoff, James Wan, Todd Garner, Sean Robbins and E. Bennet Walsh. Although the official plot information has yet to be released, this will be a reboot of the original story bringing the Mortal Kombat franchise into a new era.
