Circumstances beyond control has forced UFC welterweight contender, Leon “Rocky” Edwards, 18W 3L, to turn down a championship match-up against current title holder, Kamaru “The Nigerian Nightmare” Usman, 16W 1L. On a recent tweet, Edwards gave an update on his state of affairs, as many fans along with myself, were wondering why he wasn’t the one fighting for the welterweight title. Edwards last fight was in July, 2019 against Rafael Do Anos in San Antonio, Texas, which was his first fight in America, since his last loss to Usman in 2015.
