The UFC is known for being arguably the most difficult mixed martial arts promotion to compete in, as well as making the cut to be on the roster, and there are two siblings currently on a fiery streak in each ones division. Gilbert Durinho Burns, 19W 3L, the current number one contender in the UFC welterweight division, and his younger brother Herbert “The Blaze” Burns, 11W 2L, a featherweight prospect new to the organization. Both men have been on fire with Gilbert on a 6 fight win streak, and Herbert winning his first two fights, finishing his opponents in the first round. Gilbert is coming off a win against former champion, Tyron Woodley, and Herbert choked out the veteran Evan Dunham last night at UFC 250. We’ve seen brothers compete together in the UFC, like the Diaz and Pettis brothers, but never have we seen both hold a belt simultaneously. Herbert Burns has stated him and his brother Gilbert will be the first one’s to do it.
